Shrek ears

I found this mushroom growing through the remains of an elm tree we had cut down (it had died). I've never seen one like it before and it reminded me of Shrek's ears.

Fall colours

Fall is creeping in. There's a chill in the morning air, back to school buzz everywhere and hints of colour in the leaves around here! I'm introducing some luscious autumn colours in my ring collection.
